2016 3-Way Agreement among CWCB, SJWCD, and PAWSD
San Juan Water Conservancy District is obligated to advance water storage and promote water conservation in Archuleta County. The Running Iron Ranch is the potential site of an 11-acre foot water reservoir – San Juan River Headwaters Project. The property northwest of Pagosa Springs is owned jointly by Colorado Water Conservation Board, San Juan Water Conservancy District, and Pagosa Area Water and Sanitation District. SJWCD is obligated to care for the property in the long term.
