The Pagosa Water and Sanitation District (PAWSD) is a quasi-municipal corporation, taxpayer-supported water and sewer district originally formed in 1971. PAWSD encompasses approximately 76 square miles and includes the Town of Pagosa Springs and certain unincorporated areas of Archuleta County.
